Fibre Optic Technician

**The work** Splicing, testing and documentation on backbone and access fibre networks on both the European and Asian sides of Istanbul. Preparing closures and distribution cabinets, splicing in manholes and street cabinets, bidirectional OTDR acceptance testing, delivering results to the project engineer the same day, and updating network records. **What you need** - At least three years of hands-on experience in fibre splicing and testing. - Competent with a splicer, OTDR and power meter. - A habit of producing complete, legible test reports. - Full driving licence (class B). - A vocational Network Technologies certificate is an advantage; if you don't hold one, we cover the cost. **What we offer** The monthly salary band stated above, full SGK declaration, travel and meal allowance, company shuttle and private health insurance.
