Fibre Optic Technician — Rotterdam Port Network

**The work** Splicing and duct work on the industrial and port network around Rotterdam and Dordrecht. Closures and cabinets, splicing in the chamber and at the customer building, OTDR acceptance measurement, and duct work where the route needs proving. Parts of the network sit inside ATEX-classified areas, so permits and gas monitoring are routine. **What you need** - Three years or more of single-mode splicing and measurement. - VCA Basis (VCA-VOL is preferred) and the right to work in the Netherlands. - Comfortable working to a permit in a classified area; ATEX awareness is an advantage. - Driving licence B; a van is provided. - English at B2 for the site paperwork; Dutch is welcome but not required. **What we offer** A permanent Dutch contract with the hourly band above, 8% holiday allowance, a company van, travel allowance and pension. Test sets and splicers are supplied and calibrated. VCA-VOL and FOA CFOT are funded in your first year. **How to apply** Apply through CableJob.
