Fibre Splicer — London Data Centre Projects

**The work** Splicing and testing single-mode fibre inside two live colocation campuses in East London. You will work from a splice schedule: prepare and clean the tube, splice into 288f and 576f frames, dress and label the trays, then shoot the route both ways with an OTDR and hand the traces to the project engineer the same day. Work is inside the data hall and in the meet-me room, so change control and escorted access are part of the day. **What you need** - Valid ECS or CSCS card and a right to work in the UK. - Three years or more of single-mode splicing on commercial or data centre work. - Confident with an OTDR: you can read a trace and say what the event is, not just record the number. - Comfortable working to a permit and a method statement, and writing your own as-built marks. - FOA CFOT or an equivalent vendor certificate is preferred, not essential. **What we offer** A day rate that is stated above and does not move after the interview, overtime at time and a half, weekly payment and a named supervisor on site. Test sets, consumables and splice trailers are provided; you bring hand tools and PPE.
