Fibre Splicing Technician

**The work** Splicing and testing on the FTTH rollout between Cologne, Bonn and the Rhein-Erft district. You prepare closures and distribution cabinets, splice in the chamber, at the PoP and in the building entry room, carry out the OTDR acceptance measurement and hand the test records to the site management. You keep the network records yourself — what gets built is in the system the same day. **What you need** - Completed technical training or several years of hands-on fibre installation experience. - Confident with a splicer, OTDR and power meter. - Careful with test records and documentation. - Full driving licence (class B). - German to at least B2 for coordination on site. **What we offer** Permanent contract at the hourly rate stated above, a company vehicle with tools, 30 days holiday, a company pension scheme and paid training up to Infrastrukturfachkraft Glasfasertechnik.
