**The work** A fixed-term project assignment of around five months on Berlin's backbone build. Ribbon splicing in high fibre-count closures, single-fibre splicing at the branches, bidirectional OTDR testing and re-working splices that show up on the trace. You work in a two-person team from a test vehicle, mostly during the day, with road-crossing work at night. **What you need** - Several years of fibre splicing experience, including demonstrable ribbon splicing. - Confident reading and assessing OTDR traces in both directions. - Willingness for occasional night work during road closures. - Full driving licence (class B). - German to at least B1 for the site safety briefing. **What we offer** An hourly rate in the band above plus a project allowance, accommodation provided and weekend trips home paid. The test vehicle, splicer and OTDR are supplied and calibrated. **How to apply** Apply through CableJob.
