**The work** Day-rate drop work across Bristol and Bath. Survey the property, install the external cable from the chamber or pole to the customer wall box, route internally, splice or connectorise the drop, fit and activate the ONT, and prove the light level before you leave. Between six and nine jobs a day depending on the mix of overhead and underground. **What you need** - One year or more of FTTH drop or engineer-visit work. - Your own van, ladder and hand tools; splicer and power meter are provided. - A CSCS card and a clean-enough driving licence for our insurance. - Good with customers: most of these appointments happen in somebody's living room. - Confident working from a ladder and on a pole after training. **What we offer** A day rate in the band above, paid weekly, with materials delivered to your van twice a week. You choose which days you work, with a minimum of three a week. Two days of paid induction before you take your first appointment. **How to apply** Apply through CableJob.
