**The work**
Designing FTTP access networks from the PoP to the property: route selection over the GIS record, duct and pole usage, splitter placement and the loss budget that goes with it, splice plans, and the as-built pack once the build team has been through. Fully remote within the UK and Ireland, with a design review call twice a week.
**What you need**
- Three years or more of OSP or FTTX design.
- Fluent in a GIS: QGIS, Vetro, 3-GIS or an equivalent.
- Able to calculate and defend a loss budget for a PON design.
- Understands what the build crew can actually do, because you have been on site.
- Based in the UK or Ireland with the right to work there.
**What we offer**
A permanent salary in the band above, fully remote working, a home office budget, pension and 28 days holiday plus bank holidays. We fly the design team in twice a year; otherwise the job is done from where you live.
